Class A
The defending state "A" Champs and the #1 seed in this year's tournament are the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (25-2). They are lead by 5'9 senior Claire Assum and 5'10 senior Elizabeth Odens. The Chargers will play the noon game on Thursday vs #8 seed Redfield/Doland Pheasants (18-10). The Pheasants defeated Clark/Willow Lake and Deuel to earn a trip to the state tournament. Following the first match at 1:45 will be a battle of the Cavaliers. The #4 seed St. Thomas More(29-5) will take on #5 seed Aberdeen Roncalli (23-5). In the night session starting at 6pm it will be #3 Wagner Red Raiders (29-3) vs #6 seed Gregory Lady Gorillas (21-6) and at 7:45pm it will be #7 Elk-Point-Jefferson Huskies (19-10) vs #2 Mobridge-Pollock Lady Tigers (27-2).
Class B
In class "B" the defending state champs #3 Arlington Cardinals (28-4) will play host to #6 Hanson Beaverettes (26-4) in the night session at 6pm. The #1 seed in this year's tournament are the Parker Pheasants at 31-1. They play host to #8 Faith Longhorns (23-7) at noon. Starting at 1:45pm will be #4 Northwestern Wildcats (28-4) vs #5 Herreid/Selby Area (26-4). Finishing out the night session at 7:45pm will be #7 James Valley Christian Lady Vikings(21-5) vs #2 Edgemont Monguls (30-1).
Class AA
In class "AA" the defending state champs the Lincoln Patriots (21-4) are the #2 seed and play host to #7 O'Gorman Knights(11-10) at 7:45pm. The #1 seed in this year's tournament are the RC Stevens Raiders (20-2) playing host to #8 Huron Tigers (11-11) at noon. Following the match at 1:45pm it will be #4 SF Roosevelt Rough Riders vs #5 SF Washington Warriors. In the 6pm game it will feature #3 Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (18-4) vs #6 Mitchell Kernels (15-8).
